Description

This story is a telling illustration of how Jesus related to those whom others had given up. He did not hesitate to reach out to them. He did not care what anyone would think of it, whether a person had deserved it or knew how to take it. He made no conditions to Zacchaeus before He would stay with him. The Gospel does not even record Jesus' scolding Zacchaeus for his past.
