This pamphlet includes all types of names to suit all sorts of tastes. All are Christian names, and the feast days following each entry are either those listed in the current Church calendar or those assigned by custom or popular usage (for saints not appearing in the present calendar). This makes possible the celebration of one's "name day," a practice very helpful for introducing younger family members to their patron, and deepening their love and knowledge of them. A second section gives handy and interesting information on the saints as patrons or protectors for those in particular professions or occupations, as well as others to be invoked in times of special need.
